CoreWeave CEO Cites $104.2 Billion Backlog to Calm Staff Amid Stock and Bond Slide
Key Summary
CoreWeave CEO Mike Intrator has sent an internal memo to employees citing a $104.2 billion revenue backlog to reassure them that the company's debt obligations will be met. The memo comes after the company's stock and bonds experienced a decline, with CoreWeave shares falling 15% and unsecured bonds trading below 80 cents on the dollar. However, the CEO's confidence may be at odds with the bond market's skepticism, which sees a yield near 15% as fair compensation for lending to the company.
